OUR STORY
Health Dunn Right's journey began in 2015 with Dunn County's first Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), which helped identify the most pressing health concerns facing our community. In 2016, a community coalition was formed through collaboration between the Dunn County Health Department and the Community Foundation of Dunn County. Visioning sessions in 2017 brought together more than 50 community members to help shape a shared path forward.
The coalition officially launched in 2018, and Health Dunn Right (HDR) was established in 2019. Although coalition efforts were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, partners remained committed to improving community health. By 2021, HDR relaunched Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) efforts and, in 2022, achieved the goals identified in the 2019 CHIP.
Community input remained central to the process as the 2024 Community Health Assessment was conducted and shared throughout 2023 and 2024. Today, HDR continues to build on this foundation by launching new action teams, CHIP goals, and community-driven initiatives that address the health priorities identified by Dunn County residents.

What is Health Dunn Right's Mission?
The mission of Health Dunn Right is to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and our community within Dunn County through advocacy, collaboration, education, and peer support. Health Dunn Right's goals are to reduce health disparities and help those who need it most.
How did Health Dunn Right Start?
In 2019, a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) was conducted in Dunn County. This CHNA led to Health Dunn Right and 5 Action Teams being created:
